Privacy Policy

Openty is an event invitation and RSVP service delivered as a LINE Mini App. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Openty, why we collect it, and how it is stored.

Information we collect

  • LINE profile information. When you open Openty inside LINE, we receive your LINE user ID and display name through the LINE Front-end Framework (LIFF). We use your user ID to identify you as a host or guest, and your display name to show who has replied to an event.
  • Event details. Information you enter when creating an event, such as its title, description, date and time, and location.
  • RSVP responses. Your reply to an invitation (for example attending or not attending) and any accompanying details you provide.
  • Uploaded cover images. Images you choose to upload as an event cover.

We do not collect your email address, phone number, payment details, or precise device location.

How we use your information

Your information is used only to operate the service: to create and display events, to record and show RSVP responses to the event host and invited guests, and to send you related notifications through LINE (for example an invitation or a reminder about an event you replied to). We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.

Where your information is stored

Openty runs on Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region, ap-southeast-1. Event data, RSVP responses, and uploaded images are stored there. Access is restricted to the operator of the service and protected by AWS access controls; data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Information is shared only as needed to run the service — with LINE in order to deliver messages to you, and with AWS as our hosting provider — or where we are required to do so by law.

Note that information you contribute to an event is visible to the people involved in that event: your display name and RSVP response are shown to the host, and event details you create are shown to the guests you invite.

Retention and deletion

We keep event and RSVP data for as long as the event exists in the service. You may request deletion of your data, or of an event you created, by contacting us at the address below.

Children

Openty is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
